Day 8

We are having problems with both wifi and this iPad and are losing words and photos several times before we can publish them.
This is the third time I have produced the words above so future reports may be few and far between.

Agrigento's valley of the Temples is one of ancient Greece's greatest legacies.

These Temples have stood here for over 2000 years

These ceramic mosaics are sensational.

A lavish Greek home now being restored.

At a late night wine bar for a port before nightfall.

Houses everywhere built on the side of steep ravines, all out of stone and similar colourings.

A wander around the village of Modica.

Then over this bridge to Scicli, this bridge is 400 feet above the river.

Then the gelato vender arrives

In 1600 this area was demolished by an earthquake with thousands losing their lives.

Lemonchello and chocolate only sold here.

Lunch with Brigitta and Mike at Scicli

The homes all look the same and very old but the streets are spotless.
